I am having the worst time on a personal level. My professional and dating life suck and I feel I’ve been treading water for months if not all of 2026. I have to housesit until mid-November.

A guy I know (older brother of my close friend) is living in Paris and he invited me to stay. I would only need to pay airfare there and back, so I’d end up paying less than a thousand dollars, which rounds down to zero dollars. I’d pay for food and stuff there but I do that here in the states as well so not a substantial difference.

He probably wants to hook up while I’m there but I’ve seen him naked and it’s not a bad thing. I want to go so bad. I haven’t been to Paris in years and he has the cutest little apartment in the 11th arrondissement. I’m just praying everything will work out and my benefactor will buy my ticket. In a day or two I might be thrilled or devastated.
